Ensure that all works are carried out using a Safe System of Work with the use of an approved change Management, risk assessment and method operating Procedures

To take a leading role in purchasing of parts and supplies as necessary as per the approval process and work to ensure that use of critical spares is tracked and stock maintained and updated

To manage small works projects, from requirements to completed solution

To identify, write and implement Operational Procedures

To write and implement complex LV & HV switching schedules and manage shutdowns

To use experience, knowledge and initiative to ensure that equipment and systems are running efficiently, minimizing risk to Customers and DLR in line with statutory requirements

You take ownership and responsibility to ensure that the planned operations are accomplished with the expected accuracy and efficiency and proactively act when changes or unforseen situations occur

You concentrate and communicate on the “what” of needs to be done and ensure the “how” of that is being performed by Foremen

You focus on maintaining a safe working environment and address or act accordingly where needed

Ability to learn and perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant, including but not limited to, pizza delivery

Must have a reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance

Role model, leading by example

Recognised formal Electrical training (City and Guilds )

AP15 course and experience as an HV Authorized

In house Training programs

Responsibilities for shift leader

• Ensure that the operations and workforce are efficiently organized in order to achieve safe, healthy and high productivity on all levels
• Report all problems that will have an effect on the execution of the safety/plan/productivity to the Execution Manager and take corrective and preventive actions
• Act as focal point in Operations for any stevedore issues
• Coordinate and guide all terminal visits related to the operations, such as agents, customers, customs, police force, vessel visitors
• Suggest new ideas and process improvements
• Be in the proper uniform and ready to take responsibility of shift at the assigned time
• Proficient at the Counter, Prep and Cashier positions
• Insures all team members are in uniform, clocked in and at assigned positions at assigned time
• Supervises and works with the assigned staff to assure that the proper guest service and product quality are given as prescribed in the “Operations Manual.”
• Accountable that all cash is handled properly and funds are properly secured

Qualifications for shift leader

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (second language a plus)
• A current driver’s license and use of a personal car
• A food handler card where applicable
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant is preferred
• Some college and or culinary schooling a plus
• At least 1-3 years in a Manufacturing or Human Resource Supervisory role or combination of both

• Responsible that all opening, closing, change of shift and early out assigned duties are completed using appropriate checklists

• Management experience in manufacturing/logistics preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite ( Excel, Word, PPT)
• Ability to manage a large, diverse group in a busy environment that is fast paced and rapidly changing
• Position requires movement around the store and giving direction most of the working day
• Required to lift pans of food or food items weighing up to 30 pounds to shoulder height
• Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts

• Manual dexterity with the ability to work on own initiative
• Happy working a 3 week shift rotation
