Bob was born on November 16, 1956, in Santa Maria, California to Robert Henderson and Alice Burke. Throughout his 67 years, he touched countless lives with his fun-loving spirit, unwavering perseverance, and steadfast loyalty. Bob moved with his grandmother, Mae Henderson to Albuquerque, NM in 1960 to live with Thomas A. and Martha A. Henderson. Even with the big change, his "can-do" attitude was already there. He was born April 12, 1943 in Tampa, FL and attended Jesuit High School and Florida State University as a catcher. He signed with the Kansas City Athletics in 1966.
