Rumours regarding the 2025 Super Bowl half-time show performer have been shared on social media, leaving fans with mixed emotions. Though nothing has been officially confirmed or denied currently, supporters have nonetheless made their feelings clear.

According to X user MLFootball, the 2025 Super Bowl show is rumoured to be headlined by pop star Miley Cyrus. The account continues to claim that Cyrus was a finalist to perform at last year’s NFL centrepiece.
Fans reacted to their rumours in the comment section of the post, as one wrote: “The NFL keeps taking Half-Time show L's”, with a second making their feelings on Cyrus potentially appearing clear, adding: “Dear GOD nooooo!”
But others were pleased by the news, believing the ‘Flowers’ singer deserves the chance and would put on a great performance. “YES! GO MILEY”, one account said. While a second lauded: "miley deserves idc”.

Some fans clambered for Lil Wayne to perform in the half-time show. The rapper is local to New Orleans, where the Super Bowl is being held next year, at the Saints’ home of Caesars Superdome. Lil Wayne has previously expressed his desire to play a key role on stage at the Super Bowl.
"[I want it] just as bad as I wanted to see my name at the top of that list when I was whatever age it was that I would bust into that office and get that Billboard magazine," he said last year.
"I know for a fact that when I do the Louisiana Fest, that there’s like, a trillion people. And being in front of my city and seeing that many people is amazing. So to know that a Super Bowl would be…what?!

Last year’s half-time show featured Usher as the headline performer, with guest appearances by Alicia Keys, will.i.am, Lil Jon, Ludacris, H.E.R and Sonic Boom of the South. Various names including Harry Styles and Taylor Swift were rumoured to be performing, but Swift reportedly pulled out of consideration due to her The Era Tour commitment.
Swift was in attendance supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce as he won his third Super Bowl title with the Kansas City Chiefs, beating the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime. Swift appeared on the field to celebrate the Chiefs' success during a break in her worldwide tour.
